Shengdanyache Ladu/Peanut ladoo:-
Preparation Time:- 15 minutes
Serves:- 15 to 18 ladoos
This dish is also a very good dietary intake in winter as a breakfast for kids.These ladoos contains Jaggery and Peanuts so it is good source of Iron,and helps to increase Hemoglobin,great medicine in Hemoglobin deficiency. These ladoos can be eaten in fast.And you can make the sweet peanut paratha too from this ladoo mixture.It is a very quick and healthy break fast for kids best eaten in cold winter mornings.These laddos are also eaten in fasting days as it gives energy to stay empty stomach for longer.It has one week shelf life.If stored in refrigerator,then can last more than a week.But remove from fridge 30 minutes early before serving.So here is the simple recipe.
Ingredients:-
1)Roasted peanut 1 and 1/2 cup Coarsely ground.
2)Jaggery or Gudh powder or grated 1 cup (OR to taste)
3)Roasted poppy seeds powder 1 tablespoon
4)Green Cardamoms crushed 3 to 4 numbers
5)Grated Nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
6)Clarified butter or Pure ghee 1 tablespoon
7)Full cream milk 1 tablespoon
Directions:-
1)Roast the peanuts and grind coarsely. Take 1 and 1/2 cup coarsely ground peanuts
2)In a large mixing bowl mix together all the dry ingredients.
3)Sprinkle in clarified butter,mix well
4)Sprinkle milk a little at a time. Mix well(Refer the pictures)
5)Apply 1 to 2 drops of ghee in your hands and roll small ladoos and serve in the morning.
Or eat whenever you like.
