Preparation time 15 minutes
Quantity:- 4 to 6 tablespoons (Approximately)

Garlic chutney/Lasun Chutney:-

This recipe is very simple, tasty and multipurpose. It contains Garlic cloves and cumin seeds, red chili powder, salt and sugar. This can be served as a side dish, goes well with vada pav (Indian Snack), sandwiches, parathas and Dabeli(when used for dabeli need to dilute to make the paste).Very good to carry in traveling. And can stay for one month in a airtight container. Its another name is Gun powder ,so here is the recipe.
Ingredients:-
1) Garlic cloves big size 6 numbers
2) Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
3) Red chili powder(hot) 2 and 1/2 tablespoons
(  if you want less spicy use kashmiri chili powder)
4) Salt 1 teaspoon
5) sugar 1/4 teaspoon
Method:-
1) Heat pan add cumin seeds and just warm it for 3 seconds do not roast
2) Remove the cumin seeds in a plate and allow it to cool down
3) Cut the garlic cloves in halves to the heated pan and roast till it get roasted spots ( Refer the picture.)
4) When the cumin seeds are cool grind them to a coarse powder, add garlic cloves ,red chili powder, salt and sugar and just turn the grinder knob to first speed level for 1 second and again off ,turn to the first speed level for another 1 second and again off. Do not grind too much other wise it wont have powder texture.
5) Thats all the Garlic chutney is ready.
